Ground Zero Gaming parts ways with Rocket League roster
Australian eSports organization Ground Zero Gaming has decided to part ways with its Rocket League roster. In a statement, the club did not indicate the reasons for such changes.
The last Ground Zero Gaming roster was formed in 2020. For almost two years, the Australian team has become the winner of many regional championships, including RLCS Season X - ESL Oceanic Championship: Fall Regional Event 3, RLCS Season X - ESL Oceanic Championship: Winter Regional Event 2, RLCS Season X - Winter: OCE Major, RLCS Season X - ESL Oceanic Championship: Spring Regional Event 1, RLCS Season X - Oceanic Championship and Intel World Open - Asia Maritime and Oceania Regional Finals.
In addition, the team took part in last year's Rocket League Championship Series 2021-22 - Fall Split Major, where they took 9-11th place. The last tournament for Ground Zero Gaming was RLCS 2021-22 - Winter: OCE Regional Event 3, which ended with a 4:3 victory over Renegades in the final.
