Psyonix has increased the prize pools of regional Rocket League championships due to the cancellation of World Cup events due to coronavirus. Additional funds were received by Europe, Oceania, North and South America, and more details can be found below:
- Europe + $ 100,000 in prize money
- North America + $ 100,000 in prize money
- Oceania + $ 25,000 in prize money
- South America + $ 25,000 in prize money
The company also said that it is already developing a plan for organizing and conducting online championships and is not going to cancel the competition due to the sensational virus.
