Everything Marvel Announced and Revealed at New York Comic Con 2026

Marvel Studios made its traditional appearance at New York Comic Con, where the focus was on upcoming series set in the MCU. Not only did the studio reveal details about projects already in the works, but they also announced some intriguing new series, both animated and live-action.

Perhaps the biggest announcement from Marvel Studios was Zodiaс —a new spy series set to premiere in 2028. Interestingly, the logo appears to contain a reference to another series—Agents of SHIELD. Meanwhile, Clark Gregg, who plays Phil Coulson, also hinted at this on his Instagram.

As for animated shows, the studio has revealed three new projects under the Marvel Zombies umbrella, each of which will be released over the next three years, starting in 2027. Next year will feature a project dedicated to the Winter Soldier; in 2028, The Fist of Khonshu will be released, followed by The Last Guardian. All of these projects will be released around Halloween.

Starting Halloween 2027, Marvel Animation’s Marvels Zombies returns with all-new specials on Disney+:

• The Winter Soldier 2027
• The Fist of Khonshu 2028
• The Last Guardian 2029

Speaking of projects that have already been confirmed, the cast of Daredevil: Born Again took the stage at NYCC and confirmed the upcoming third season will be the last— a fact that was first revealed last month. Marvel also confirmed the show will bring the Defenders back to the screen, though fans already knew this thanks to leaks from the set.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man has officially been renewed for a second season, with a planned release date of January 13, 2027. The first poster was also unveiled, featuring Spider-Man wearing the symbiote. Additionally, a teaser for the third season of X-Men '97 was shown in a closed format, and the news was accompanied by confirmation the series has been renewed for a fourth season. At last, as you know, a new MCU series, VisionQuest, is coming out next week, and NYCC attendees were treated to an exclusive teaser featuring Ultron.
