However, Variety reports the show ihas found its young god, as Callum Vinson (Long Bright River, Chucky) has been cast as Atreus in God of War TV show. He has now joined the company of Ryan Hurst (Kratos), Olafur Darri Olafsson (Thor), Mandy Patinkin (Odin), Alastair Duncan (Mimir), Danny Woodburn (Brok), Jeff Gulka (Sindi), and others.

Amazon’s God of War Casts Callum Vinson for Atreus Role 1

God of War TV series is set to adapt both recent Santa Monica Studio titles—God of War (2018) and God of War: Ragnarok. Frederick E.O. Toye (Shogun) is confirmed to direct the first two episodes of season one. The production and release date remain unknown for now.
