Avengers: Endgame Encore - New Footage and Post-Credit Scenes Details Revealed

On September 25, Avengers: Endgame Encore—a special version of the 2019 Marvel Cinematic Universe culmination—will premiere in theaters to coincide with a new event, Avengers: Doomsday, set to arrive in December. And this isn’t just a re-release of the film; it will feature new footage, including post-credits scenes that lead directly into the upcoming crossover.

Shortly before the highly anticipated release, alleged details have surfaced about what Marvel Studios has in store for fans in Avengers: Endgame – Encore, and the post-credits scenes sound particularly intriguing in the context of Avengers: Doomsday. According to Blue Minutes, a reliable MCU insider, Avengers: Endgame: Encore will include 7 minutes of additional footage, 4 of which are from the film itself, and 3 minutes are post-credits scenes. Furthermore, the insider claims one of the post-credits scenes will feature the appearance of Doctor Doom, played by Robert Downey Jr., and the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), as you can check out below:

Avengers Endgame Encore will have extra 7 minutes footage. 4 minutes for Endgame Encore and 3 minutes of exclusive look for Doomsday. One of the scenes will have Doctor Doom and Hulk in a scene.

Another well-known insider, WaynePM, has also revealed additional information. He confirms Avengers: Endgame – Encore will include two post-credits scenes. According to him, one of them involves some characters from Avengers: Doomsday, while the other is related to a different movie that has no significant connection to the upcoming crossover. Given that Spider-Man: Brand New Day was released this summer—featuring the return of the Hulk and having no direct connection to Avengers: Doomsday—it seems the pieces are falling into place. There are also rumors circulating on social media that Jean Grey, played by Sadie Sink, appears in an Encore post-credits scene, but these are merely speculations not backed by any evidence.

Avengers: Endgame Encore has two post-credits scenes: one is a teaser related to the Doomsday characters, and the other is tied to another movie, with no major direct connection to Doomsday.

Avengers: Doomsday, set to premiere on December 18, is perhaps the most ambitious crossover in MCU history. As the title suggests, it features Doctor Doom—one of Marvel Comics’ greatest villains—played by Robert Downey Jr., who previously portrayed Tony Stark/Iron Man. According to a synopsis, the heroes from the Earth-616 universe will team up with the Fantastic Four and the X-Men to confront Doctor Doom and prevent the destruction of the multiverse.
