God of War TV Show Has Found an Actor For Kratos Role

Although Sony is not hurrying up to announce a new God of War video game, the fans will have a fresh look at the franchise when the God of War TV show arrives on Amazon. And now we finally found out who will play the main character, the iconic Kratos.

Deadline has shared an exclusive report that Ryan Hurst (Sons of Anarchy, The Abandons) will play Kratos in the God of War TV series for Amazon. Gamers were hoping for a suitable actor in terms of size and general similarity, and they might be satisfied with the choice. It's interesting that Ryan Hurst also voiced the Thor character in God of War: Ragnarok.

Previously, insider Daniel Richtman reveals actors for roles of Baldur and Thor: Max Parker will play the villain of God of War (2018) video game, while Olafur Darri Olafsson will play the God of Thunder, though it hasn’t been confirmed officially.

Frederick E.O. Toye (Shogun) is confirmed to direct the first two episodes of the first season. Despite the show is currently in production, it’s already been renewed for second season, and it is expected first season will adapt the events of God of War (2018), and the season second will show the events of God of War: Ragnarok.

Considering Kratos’ actor has been found, we should expect casting for Atreus to be completed soon.
