Netflix Upgraded on iOS: Download the Whole Season

Apple iPhone and iPad users can now download full seasons of Netflix shows with just a tap, thanks to the new "Season Download" feature released on the iOS app. While Android users have had this feature since 2021, Netflix has now rolled it out to iOS after receiving consistent feedback that downloading episodes one by one was a hassle.

The new "Season Download" button can be found on the show’s display page, right next to the Share button. For shows with multiple seasons, the button will read “Download Season ”, while for shows with only one season, it will show the total number of episodes, like “Download 6 Episodes.” Once downloaded, users can access them via My Netflix > Downloads for offline viewing. Netflix also confirmed that all originals and most licensed content are available for download.

This update follows a recent price hike for Netflix's subscription tiers, with new pricing for the ad-supported Standard plan at $7.99 and the ad-free Standard at $17.99.
