Talon Esports said goodbye to Demic
Hong Kong esports organization Talon Esports has announced changes to its Rainbow Six roster, saying goodbye to Demic. The South Korean player played for the team for a year and a half, but now his contract with the club has been terminated by mutual agreement.
The contract with Demic was terminated by mutual agreement. We would like to thank Demic, who is called the god of death and who showed a great game in the team. We will continue to support his future moves.
Demic joined Talon Esports in August 2021, having moved from the StarRise camp. For half a year, the South Korean player helped the team win the Korean Open 2021 - Autumn and Korean Open 2022 - Autumn, as well as get into the top three at the Asia-Pacific League 2022 - North Division - Stage 1, ROG Masters Asia-Pacific 2022: South Korea and TEN 2022 FPS SPECIAL.
Even though the journey was short, I was very grateful to my teammates and I was very sorry that I couldn't go to the Major and I hope I can go next time. I am grateful to my teammates for helping me a lot in a short amount of time, and I am very grateful to Talon Esports and those who supported me,” wrote Demic.
However, the team failed in the open qualifiers for the Six Invitational 2023 for Asia, which was probably the reason for Demic's departure. This is not the first change in the roster of the Hong Kong club, which loaned Soldier to DAMWON Gaming in early January.
It's unclear what the future holds for Talon Esports on the scene. The organizers will soon present a list of partner teams for each region where the organization is at risk of missing out.
