Julio leaves FURIA coaching position
The Brazilian esports organization FURIA has announced the departure of Julio from the post of head coach of the Rainbow Six roster. It is noteworthy that the 28-year-old Brazilian specialist worked with the team for only a few months. According to the latest rumors, Julio is preparing to return to the scene as a player.
Today we say goodbye to Julio, who was our Rainbow Six coach. We thank him for the time we spent together and for all the dedication to the team.
Julio boasts a rich competitive career. After spending four years with Ninjas in Pajamas, the Brazilian became the champion of many tournaments, including Pro League Season 10 - Latin America, Six August 2020 Major - Brazil, Six Invitational 2021 and Copa Elite Six - Season 2021: Stage 2.
However, in the summer of this year, Julio left the team to challenge himself and lead the FURIA team. In two months of work, the 28-year-old Brazilian specialist got into the TOP-2 at the end of Brasileirão 2022 - Stage 2, and also led the team to the playoffs of Six Berlin Major 2022.
I have only positive moments during this time in FURIA. I was greeted very well by everyone (players/staff) and shown how fun it is to work in a team that is cohesive in every way. Thank you so much!” Julio wrote.
Given the latest rumors, Julio is preparing to return to the professional scene as a player. The likely place for the resumption of a career for the Brazilian is the w7m esports team, which recently announced its parting with GdNN1.
The next championship for FURIA will be Brasileirão 2022 - Stage 3 starting next week. Given the circumstances, there is every right to believe that the organization has decided on its future coach.
FURIA composition for Rainbow Six discipline:
