Lunarmetal named Knights new head coach
The North American esports organization Knights has announced a reshuffle on the coaching bridge of the Rainbow Six roster. As a result, pikniq left the team, replaced by Lunarmetal.
pikniq has been the head coach of the Knights for the past two years. During this time, the 20-year-old Australian specialist helped the team win APAC South 2021 - Stage 2 and Oceanic Nationals 2022 - Stage 1, as well as reach the finals at the Six August 2020 Major - Oceania, Oceanic Nationals 2020, APAC South 2021 - Stage 1 and Oceanic Nationals 2021 - Stage 1.
After two and a half years with the Knights, the team and I have come to the mutual decision to part ways. After listening to the team's decision, I decided to leave Rainbow Six. I always thought there was no point in competing in Rainbow Six if I didn't give my all and see improvements. I want to take the opportunity to explore my options and test myself in a different environment.
Special thanks go to my teammates who have been a huge influence in shaping me into who I am today. They challenged me and pushed me to work harder as a coach and as a person. Finally, I would like to thank the Knights organization, they trusted us from the very beginning and continued to support us through our ups and downs.

In turn, Lunarmetal has no coaching experience behind it. However, the 28-year-old Indonesian has a wealth of esports experience, having won APAC North 2020 - Stage 1, APAC North 2020 - Stage 2 and Six November 2020 Major - APAC North.
Currently, the Australian team is focusing on its performances in the Asia-Pacific League 2022 - South Division - Stage 2. At the same time, the team is taking part in Oceanic Nationals 2021 - Stage 2.
From now on, the Knights roster for Rainbow Six is as follows:
- Jsh.
- juicy.
- Sageon.
- Quiz.
- Stigs.
- Lunarmetal (coach).
