Talon Esports welcomes Marb1e and Misa
Talon Esports welcomed Yoon 'Marb1e' Seokhyun and Hong 'Misa' Sangyeong to their Rainbow Six team. The esportsmen joined the likes of Lee 'Soldier' Sihyeon, Lee 'Kanos' Seungbyeom, Kim 'Demic' Deyoung and Kwon 'h3dy' Yegyun. The incoming rookies replaced Someyu 'AzzyyyS' Masaki and Ima 'Saeyeora' Seungkwan who left on June 2. Notably, Japanese native AzzyyyS has been on the roster since November 28, 2019 and was the most experienced of all the remaining players.
The last championship that Talon Esports took part in was the APAC League 2022 Playoffs - Stage 1. There, the team stopped one step away from reaching the Six Charlotte Major 2022 with a prize pool of $500,000. Talon took 5th place and were left without a cash prize and rating points with an invite to the Major tournament. Perhaps after a perfect personnel replacement, the team will play in a new way, but the experience of the new players leaves much to be desired.
Speaking of esports players coming in to keep up with what's going on, Hong 'Misa' Sangyong started his career as a professional player in Rainbow Six at the end of August 2021. He has played under the tags of Nuclear, PANTHERA and D4RK Esports. He has earned more than $1,500 in prize money all the time, and the best achievement in his career was a 5-6 place finish at the Korean Open 2022 Spring with PANTHERA. Yoon 'Marb1e' Seokhyun started as a professional player in Rainbow Six in May 2021. He played for GroovJam, 5PM supremacy, D4RK Esports and Team Viper. He almost made it to the $1,200 mark in prize money earned. The most solid achievement in his career is the same Korean Open 2022 Spring, however, unlike Misa, Seokhyun took not 5-6, but 8th position in the standings, receiving only $3,146 per team as a reward.
