PUBG Mobile has been named Mobile Esports Game of the Year at the Esports Awards 2025, marking the title’s second win in four years after previously securing the honor in 2022.

At the ceremony held on 19 November 2025, PUBG Mobile triumphed over a strong lineup of nominees, including Honor of Kings, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Free Fire, Brawl Stars, Call of Duty, and Pokémon Unite.
This year’s Esports Awards stood out from previous editions, as it followed the special Decade Awards event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a celebration dedicated to honoring excellence, industry leaders, and standout talent across global esports.
A major announcement for fans
While expressing gratitude to the Esports Awards and its community of supporters, PUBG Mobile also revealed that the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) will begin on 24 November 2025. In a surprising and highly anticipated development, India will return to the PMGC stage for the first time in four years.
