PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Moves to Next-Gen Consoles Only This November

Starting November 13, 2025, PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDSwill officially become a PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S exclusive with the launch of Update 38.2. This update introduces enhanced next-gen versions of the game and special gift packages for players who previously played on older consoles.

End of Support for PS4 and Xbox One

Following the release of Update 38.2, PUBG will no longer be available on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. Developers have confirmed upgraded technical specifications for all supported consoles, ensuring smoother gameplay and improved visuals.

Update and Rewards

Server maintenance is scheduled for November 13, from 03:00 to 14:00 CEST, with preload available on November 12 at 04:00 CEST.Players who had active accounts on older consoles before the maintenance period will receive exclusive appreciation rewards:

• PUBG Icons Parachute
• Desolate Military Base Nameplate
• PUBG Graffiti Emblem

Additionally, PlayStation Plus and Xbox Game Pass bundles will be available from November 13, 11:00 CEST, until January 8, 2026, 03:00 CEST.

New Events and Bonuses

After the update, console-exclusive events will kick off, allowing players to invite new or returning users to earn special rewards — including 500 G-Coin. More details will appear in the November Special Drops announcement, which will also include a discount for BATTLEGROUNDS Plus.

Account Transition and Compatibility

All player data and purchased items will automatically carry over to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions.However, PS5 users will need to reconfigure in-game settings, as the PS4 and PS5 editions are treated as separate products. Due to technical limitations, PS4 trophies will not transfer, while Xbox achievements will remain intact.
