PUBG: Battlegrounds Unleashes Spooky Halloween Event – Limited-Time Thrills Await!
The Halloween event in PUBG: Battlegrounds is making a return, promising a spine-tingling experience for players. As you disembark from the eerie "Ghost Ship", you'll find yourself in a haunted version of Erangel, where your mission is to scavenge the haunted terrain, craft macabre weaponry, strengthen your abilities, and fight relentlessly to emerge as the last surviving team.
What makes this event even more intriguing is that it comes with a twist – it's only available for a limited time, concluding at midnight UK time on October 10th (5pm PT). So, you'll need to dive into the Halloween Battle Royale before the clock runs out.
Players will have the opportunity to choose from four distinct classes: Executioner, Ranger, Pyromancer, and Cleric. There are no constraints on the composition of your squad, so you can opt for a balanced team with each class represented or go for an unconventional strategy like an all-Pyromancer team – the decision is entirely yours.
However, it's crucial to note that each class requires unique ingredients to enhance their capabilities, so efficient loot-sharing among different classes is advised. It's not ideal to share loot needed by a squad consisting of four Executioners, for example.
In this special mode, you'll also have the freedom to select your preferred weapon from a set of two choices. What's more, you can switch between these weapons in each upgrade stage, allowing for versatile combat strategies.
You can access the Halloween update now on the Erangel map through the Arcade. Keep in mind that this mode accommodates 80 players, organized into 20 squads of four, a departure from the typical 100-player format, and you can only play in third-person perspective.
Unfortunately, any victories achieved in this spooky mode won't be recorded in your match history, career page, or contribute to your XP progression.
As PUBG: Battlegrounds celebrated its sixth anniversary, the game revealed an impressive infographic showcasing its global impact. With over 150.7 million players across 242 countries, the free-to-play battle royale has accumulated a staggering 16.3 billion hours of gameplay on PC and consoles, solidifying its place as a gaming phenomenon.
