In a separate case, a 13-year-old PUBG addict named Majid Rehman stole over 70,000 Pakistani Rupees (PKR) from his own home to fuel his PUBG obsession. He used the stolen money to purchase in-game costumes. After three days, the police managed to locate and apprehend the teenager, reuniting him with his family. An FIR was filed in the city police station in Arifwala regarding this incident.

In yet another distressing incident dating back to July 20, a man was arrested for brutally killing his three sisters while under the influence of the PUBG game at Thermal Power Colony. The victims, identified as Fatima, Zahra, and Areesha, were found dead with their throats slit in an abandoned residence within the Thermal Power Colony premises. Basit, the accused, who is a soldier and a security sergeant at Thermal Power Colony, was taken into custody. He confessed to the murders, stating that he was influenced by the addictive nature of the PUBG game.

The popularity of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) has reached unprecedented levels, but it has also wreaked havoc on people's lives, leading to numerous casualties and life-threatening incidents.
