PUBG Partner Program members introduced

The PUBG developers have presented a list of teams that have been selected to participate in the affiliate program. A new system called the Global Partner Team Program will be in effect from the start of the next competitive season. However, the organizers promised to conduct an annual selection for the affiliate program based on target indicators.

In the process of selecting applications, the developers took into account the following parameters of applicants:

  • Level of management (stability, fulfillment of obligations and management structure)
  • Fan support (engagement and value)
  • History (team structure and esports history)

As a result, eight teams were selected, each of which will receive appropriate bonuses for participating in the affiliate program:

  • Four Angry Men (China)
  • Petrichor Road (China)
  • 17 Gaming (China)
  • FaZe Clan (Europe)
  • Natus Vincere (CIS)
  • Twisted Minds (CIS)
  • Soniqs (North America)
  • Gen.G Esports (South Korea)

In particular, participation in the affiliate program will provide teams with the opportunity to: release their own branded cosmetic items, which will be presented during PGS); receive a share of the income from the sale of branded items; receive invitations to PUBG Global Series LAN tournaments.

Despite the closed nature of the system, the organizers promised to provide opportunities for regional teams to qualify for major tournaments of the season.

Recall that at the end of last year, KRAFTON officially presented the roadmap for the PUBG competitive ecosystem for 2023. The organizers plan to completely abandon the PUBG Continental Series online tournaments in order to add an alternative PUBG Global Series track in a LAN format. At the same time, the developers opened a recruitment to the affiliate program, the results of which were presented today.
