Dplus KIA removes JUNI from PUBG Mobile team
South Korean esports organization Dplus KIA has announced changes to its PUBG Mobile roster, terminating the contract with JUNI. The 22-year-old South Korean player has been playing for the team since November 2021. The reasons for this decision are not disclosed.
Dplus KIA's contract with JUNI has been terminated. We would like to express our gratitude to JUNI for all the memorable moments, cheering both the good and the bad. Good luck to him on the new journey that lies ahead of him. Thank you.
JUNI joined the Dplus KIA roster at the end of 2021, having moved from the Warriors Esports camp. During his time with the team, the 22-year-old South Korean player became the winner of PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021: League - East, PUBG Mobile Pro Series 2022 Season 1, PUBG Mobile Pro Series 2022 Spring Finals, PUBG Mobile Rivals Cup 2022, PUBG Mobile Pro Series 2022 Season 4 and PUBG Mobile Pro Series 2022 Fall Finals, took fifth place in the PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2022, and also made it to the TOP-20 in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2022.
However, the Dplus KIA organization decided to let the esportsman go without revealing the reasons for parting with their player. Now the team has to find a fifth player to close the gap.
It is worth noting that this is not the first change in the composition of the South Korean coub, since in early January Dplus KIA said goodbye to Ssung and signed a contract with Sayden, a former player of Nongshim RedForce.
Updated Dplus KIA PUBG Mobile roster:
- FAVIAN
- FOREST
- OSAL
- Sayden
- LLLL (head coach)
