luke12 announced his departure from Luminosity Gaming

Australian player luke12 has announced his departure from Luminosity Gaming. In his social networks, the 22-year-old esportsman thanked his teammates for their joint work, and also spoke about the transition to Wildcard Gaming to participate in the qualifiers for the PUBG Global Series 2023 Phase 1.

Ever since I joined Lazarus in 2019, I immediately realized after spending a little time with the team that we are not like many others on the scene. I don't think I could have found the best people and teammates to help me in the early stages of my career and move forward until now. I really love the guys and I can only say good things about the character of everyone in this team. It is rare to find people who are so easy to get along with in a competitive environment. The ups and downs and the memories we've had over the past almost four years are something I will never forget for the rest of my life. I love each and everyone on this team.

This decision was very difficult for me. So, I wanted to clarify the reason for this, mainly because I wanted to not regret it and try something else. Obviously, the last couple of years have not been good in terms of performance. But still there is no doubt that I would like to spend my time with someone else. I wish we could reach our goals together. Thank you for everything.

I also want to give a special mention to the family and friends behind the team. The love and support you have shown to this team and to me over the past years is like no other. So from now on, I will compete with Wildcard Gaming for a slot at PUBG Global Series 2023 Phase 1.

luke12 joined Luminosity Gaming last summer when the North American club acquired the Shoot To Kill roster. During this time, the 22-year-old Australian took fifth place at PUBG Continental Series 7: Americas, and also took part in the PUBG Global Championship 2022.

Note that this is not the first change in Luminosity Gaming's roster, since in early February the coach GUNNER also left the team.
