Renba and Rex completed the Freecs roster
South Korean esports organization Freecs has completed the PUBG roster by signing contracts with Renba and Rex. The newcomers are called upon to close the gap in the team, which was formed after the club's recent parting with Hikari and Akad.
Renba and Rex have joined Guangdong Freecs and will be with them in 2023. We look forward to a great performance at Guangdong Freecs and ask for your support and high hopes for the fans.
Renba spent last season with Gen.G Esports. Here, the 21-year-old South Korean player became the winner of Battlegrounds Smash Cup Season 6 and Battlegrounds Smash Cup Season 7, and also made it to the top three at AfreecaTV PUBG League 2022 Season 1 and 2022 INCHEON CHALLENGE CUP.
In turn, Rex was a part of Danawa e-sports for almost two years, with which he got into the TOP-3 according to the results of the Predator League 2020/21: Asia, PUBG Continental Series 5: Asia, PUBG WEEKLY SERIES: EAST ASIA Phase 1 and PUBG WEEKLY SERIES: EAST ASIA Phase 2, and also took fifth place in the PUBG Global Championship 2021.
However, back in August, the 21-year-old esportsman left the team to briefly join emTek StormX e-sports.
Note that at the end of last year, the Freecs organization said goodbye to Hikari and Akad, and also re-signed contracts with the remaining members of the PUBG roster. In an updated form, the team will go into the new season.
