The following message appeared on the club website:

Today, Fury sadly announces the departure of our Championship Player Unknown's Battlegrounds team. We wanted to take the time to recap their time with us and wish them the best in their future endeavors as we move into a new Chapter in 2022.

In February 2020, the former Incognito squad joined Fury as our shining stars heading into the 2020 season in PUBG Esports. Beginning with the PGS: Berlin - NA Closed Qualifiers which unfortunately had to be cancelled due to the ongoing effects of Covid-19. This didn't stop them, as they began a run of domination domestically which lasted for 2 years.

In that time, the team competed in 5 PUBG Continental Series as Oceanic Representatives, achieving 22 separate championships across both Oceania and APAC, and recently placing 14th at the PUBG Global Championships in 2021.

As of January 2022, the team have mutually agreed to go their separate ways. The legacy they have built in the Oceanic PUBG scene will never be forgotten, and we wish them all the best in their future endeavors.

Comment from Joseph Basso, CEO:

Since I was promoted to Chief Executive Officer for Fury, the PUBG squad was the first major acquisition I made during my time in the organisation. To Jesse, Lachlan, Nathan and Matt, I can't put into words how proud you have made both Fury and APAC as a whole over these last 2 years. Even after the tragedy of PGI.S and not being able to attend, you still pushed through the pain and not only qualified for PGC 2021, but also placed in the Top 16 best PUBG rosters in the world during 2021. This may be the end as a team, But I know you'll achieve so much more in the future.

The main roster of FURY looked like this:

  • Lachlan 'Fluldd' Thompson
  • Nathan 'Ykikamucoww' Lingham
  • Matt 'Ronon' Lee
  • Jesse 'Insight' Spencer
  • Aaron 'sSuspekT' Jones (substitute)
