Blizzard has officially showcased Wuyang, the new support hero joining Overwatch 2 in Season 18. Boasting fluid movement, strong crowd control, and versatile support tools, Wuyang is shaping up to be a game-changer when his trial weekend runs from August 14–18, ahead of his official debut on August 26.

This reveal comes after his first tease earlier this year under the codename "Aqua", and fans now finally get to see his full kit in action.

🎯 Wuyang’s Complete Ability Kit

Primary Fire – Xuanwu Staff

• What it does: Fires a controllable orb projectile.
• Why it matters: Great for targeting airborne enemies like Pharah or Echo, and even mobile supports such as Lifeweaver.

Secondary Fire – Restorative Stream

• What it does: A healing beam combining Mercy’s Caduceus Staff sustain with Zenyatta’s Orb of Harmony precision.

With Wuyang revealed, only one new hero remains for 2025 — Hero 45. While Blizzard hasn’t officially named them yet, Easter eggs and datamines hint at a female melee gladiator known as “The Wolf of Retribution.” She’s expected to arrive in late December, closing out the year’s hero lineup.
