LoL blocked in Iran and Syria

Due to some sanctions imposed by the government of the USA on Iran and Syria, players from these countries lost their chance to play the MOBA game.
On the official forum of League of Legends one of the representatives of the community known as jng diff victim told that citizens of these countries are extremely dissatisfied with the turn of the events. He also told that in his opinion the political situation should not affect regular players.
He was answered and explained that Riot Games, the developers of the esports discipline, couldn't do anything with the situation due to the fact that the the team is American, so it should follow the laws made by the government.
