League of Legends players and staff at SK Gaming Academy haven't received a salary in a year

Recently, interesting details have emerged regarding the activities of SK Gaming. The club manager reported that the academic players, along with other staff serving the SK Gaming academic roster for Leaugue of Legends, have not received their salaries for a long period that has almost reached a year. Financial indebtedness appeared due to the fact that SK Gaming representatives did not enter into formal contracts with players and staff, obliging them to do this.

The information appeared on social networks. It says that the management showed the players and coaches what a sample of their contract looks like back in August last year. After it was agreed by the parties, the signing of the agreement regularly moved forward and the owners of the esports organization from time to time found new reasons not to conclude a contract. Either they had a very modest budget that did not allow signing staff and players right now, the lawyers were too busy, or the manager was not present, or there were some other reasons. As a result, the academic staff of SK Gaming spent two seasons of the Prim League Pro Division without financial support from the representatives of the esports organization.

According to the manager of the youth roster, the SK Gaming management treated their academy very irresponsibly and could not prepare absolutely nothing for the launch of this project: neither finances, nor personnel, nor anything else. He noted that the roster is played by fairly young e-sportsmen who, by and large, have not reached the age of 21. According to the manager, players have other reasons to be upset, and SK Gaming management should have supported them instead of adding problems.

After the youth squad manager made this post, SK Gaming management responded to the post and admitted that they really lacked the resources and organization to make the launch of the League of Legends academy a success. The owners promised to contact all victims in order to discuss the situation and correct their mistakes.
