Riot Games Celebrates 15 Years of League of Legends with Free Skins and Special K-POP Gragas Release!
To mark the 15th anniversary of League of Legends, Riot Games is offering a range of gifts for its fans. Among the standout items are a surprising new skin for Gragas, who’s now portrayed as a big fan of Korean pop music, and a free skin for Sivir.
On October 27th, League of Legends will officially turn 15. In celebration of this milestone, Riot Games has introduced a series of new skins designed with input from the community. Some of the notable new releases include Fan Trundle, Cosplayer Neeko, and the star of the show — Music Lover Gragas.
For a long time, the community has been asking for a K-POP-inspired skin for Gragas, even creating memes and fan-made concepts envisioning what he would look like as part of the K/DA universe. Now, Riot Games has finally delivered, revealing an official Gragas skin that, while not an official group member, is clearly a passionate fan of K-POP.
Additionally, as part of the anniversary celebrations, players can claim the Anniversary Sivir skin for free by completing special in-game missions during the "Player Days" event. These skins will become available with the launch of update 14.20, scheduled for release on October 9th, 2024.
Riot Games has also announced that all proceeds from the sales of these skins between October 9th and 28th will be donated to the Riot Games Social Impact Fund, with the company matching the donation threefold.
