Team Vitality unveiled their updated roster at LEC 2023
The French esports organization Team Vitality has officially presented the updated League of Legends roster that will take part in the LEC 2023. The new roster was built around Perkz and the little-known debutant of the European league Bo — Photon, Neon and Kaiser joined Team Vitality.
All of the club's rookies have reportedly expired in the past two months, and all three were rumored to have been approved by the LEC organizers. Bo, on the other hand, joined Team Vitality as a substitute in June 2022 and has now been promoted to the lead jungler role. Previously, he was part of FunPlus Phoenix and eStar Young.
Photon becomes the team's new topliner. The 21-year-old South Korean player spent the last season with the T1 Challengers, with whom he made it to the top three at the LCK CL Summer 2022 and Asia Star Challengers Invitational 2022.
Together with him, Neon, a former Misfits Gaming player, joined the position as a botlaner. Here, the 23-year-old Slovak took fourth place in the LEC Spring 2022.
The latest addition to the Team Vitality roster is Kaiser. The 24-year-old German played three seasons in MAD Lions, having won the LEC Spring 2021 and LEC Summer 2021, as well as getting into the TOP-3 at the LEC Spring 2020 and Mid-Season Invitational 2021.
Carter becomes the new head coach of the team. The British specialist previously worked with Misfits Gaming, where he spent two seasons in a similar position. Kayys was also introduced as a new analyst. In return, Hjarnan retained his supporting role for the following season.
The start of LEC Winter 2023 is scheduled for January 21, 2023. Before that, the team will arrive in Berlin, where they will begin their performances from a renovated studio.
