Carzzy returns to MAD Lions after season with Team Vitality
Spanish esports organization MAD Lions has announced the first addition to its League of Legends roster by signing a contract with Carzzy. Note that the 20-year-old Czech top liner has already played for the team in the past, but spent the last season with Team Vitality.
Carzzy played for MAD Lions from November 2019 to November 2021. In two seasons, the esportsman became the champion of LEC Spring 2021 and LEC Summer 2021, got into the TOP-3 at LEC Spring 2020 and Mid-Season Invitational 2021, and also reached the quarterfinals of the 2021 World Championship.
However, before the start of last season, the 20-year-old Czech top liner moved to Team Vitality. However, this transfer fell short of expectations as the team failed both splits, finishing fifth and seventh in the spring and summer respectively.
Note that this is not the first strengthening of the MAD Lions roster after the end of the season and subsequent changes. The day before, the organization signed a contract with top runner Chasy, who played the end of the season in X7 Esports, taking second place at NLC Summer 2022.
In addition, at the beginning of November, the Spanish club also said goodbye to UNF0RGIVEN, Armut and Kaiser, and parted ways with coach Kaas.
Updated MAD Lions roster for the League of Legends discipline:
- Elyoya
- Nisqy
- Carzzy
- Chasy
- Mac (head coach)
- Pad and Reignover (coaching staff)
- Aagie (analyst)
