Shochi is Immortals Academy's new mid laner
A little over four hours ago, twitter users who actively follow the LCS noticed that Immortals Academy had signed a new mid lane player, Chase "shochi" Capello.
For the first time, information was shared on his Twitter account by the user @LCS_Eevee, who tracked the new contract using the open source Global Contract Database.
Shochi is a 20-year-old American esports player who made his debut in the semi-professional League of Legends scene back in April 2020. Since then, the player has been active in North American minor tournaments as part of various amateur or small teams such as Charlotte Phoenix, Team Front, Radiance, AOE Not Zoos and Taco Gaming.
In his free time, the guy devotes a lot of effort to the ranked queue and has achieved considerable success there, as evidenced by his challenger rank and high LP in the last 5 seasons in a row. Also, he sometimes hosts or hosted broadcasts on Twitch.
Also, it is worth noting an interesting fact in his esports biography - after AOE Not Zoos, the player was part of the Immortals AOE team, a collaboration between AOE Esports and Immortals, for 3 months. So there's a good chance the Immortals scouts already had their eyes on shochi.
It is not yet known where the player's debut will be with the Immortals academy, however, judging only by his personal achievements, there is a good potential in the esportsman. Follow the updates on our website!
