Wave Esports said goodbye to sOAZ
After almost half a year of cooperation between Paul 'sOAZ' Boyer and the Wave Esports esports club, the paths of the above persons parted ways. Now Paul Boyer has become a free agent, and Wave Esports needs to find a new League of Legends player to fill the gap in their roster.
sOAZ personally spoke about his departure from the team on his Twitter account. Paul Boyer said that due to the absence of any interesting offers for him in the summer season, the esportsman will be engaged in live broadcasts of League of Legends and positional coaching. In addition, sOAZ decided to dedicate real life time and focus on the gym, driving school and other interesting things that he could not do due to his activities in eSports.
The line-up now includes Salah 'Mirai' Lmimouni, Malik 'Xoura' Donmez, Jacob 'Bung' Gramm and Andreas 'Adept' Bleekfeldt. Whether any of the above esportsmen will leave the team after Paul Boyer or remain in the roster to play in the following events is currently unknown. Relevant announcements will appear later.
SOAZ joined the club on December 31 last year and completed the partnership on May 22. During all this time, the player performed with his team only once as part of any of the events. The team was listed as one of the participants in Prime League Spring 2022, a tournament without a cash prize pool, but with the opportunity to earn an invitation to the EU Masters Spring 2022 with a cash pool of €150,000. Wave Esports not only failed to cope with the task and entered the top 3 teams of the championship, but during the entire duration of the tournament they managed to win only one map. After losing eight meetings and drawing the ninth draw, the team showed the worst performance and took the 10th line out of 10 possible. Of course, the management did not like this result, and after 3 months the club's management set about improving the situation in its League of Legends roster.
