Peter Zhang left the TSM organization
The North American esports organization TSM has announced the departure of Peter Zhang, who led the League of Legends player development department. It is reported that the reasons for the departure of the 28-year-old Chinese specialist were violations of ethical standards, as well as allegations of a conflict of interest.
We recently became aware of very serious conflict of interest and ethical allegations against Peter Zhang. After an initial investigation, we fired him immediately. We are working with external legal counsel to complete the investigation in its entirety.
Peter Zhang first joined the TSM organization at the end of 2018, leading the TSM Academy. Over the following years, the 28-year-old Chinese specialist worked with two squads of the organization, having managed to win the LCS Academy League Spring 2019. According to representatives of Riot Games, the dismissal of Peter Zhang has nothing to do with match-fixing. According to Jack Felling, this is an internal affair of the eSports club.
