Official Announcement of COVID-19 Cases by Gen.G
The organization of the esports team Gen.G on its Twitter shared the current news about the health status of the team members.
Earlier today, Wanho "Peanut" Khan of Team Gen.G LoL tested positive for COVID-19 with a breakthrough infectious disease. Peanut has been fully vaccinated and will be in self-isolation to focus on his recovery.
In addition, Sang Siu "Lehends" and head coach Dongbin "Score" Ko have to take self-quarantine measures. They have been placed under 10 days of isolation under government self-quarantine guidelines due to close contact of confirmed COVID-19 cases, as more than 90 days have passed since the second vaccination.
The rest of the Gen.G League of Legends team have received negative results from the hospital based on PCR tests.
Gen.G headquarters staff also tested negative after self-diagnostic PCR tests.
Regarding our future matches, we will act in accordance with the recommendations of the LCK and will make an announcement shortly regarding our action plan. In the meantime, we will take this time to rest our players to focus on their health and recovery.
