ROX TEAM disbanded
It became known about the end of the existence of the Russian eSports organization RoX. The team began operations in 2007, and their League of Legends division was formed by acquiring The RED roster in February 2014.
During RoX's career, a large number of players took part in the team, including: former UOL playerIlya "Gadget" Makavchuk who is currently playing in the European region;elderLCLNikolai "Zanzarah" Akatov, currently playing in Astralis; Vladlen "Saviour" Dvoretsky, the record holder for achieving the rank of Challenger in the CIS region, as well as the founder and co-owner of Future Perfect; German player formerly of Fnatic and now Team Liquid Gabriel "Bwipo" Rau; experienced LCL topper Mark "Dreampull" Leksin, currently representing Team Spirit;Aleksey "Genes1s" Romanov was the coach.
The merits of the team include:
- 3rd-4th place LCL Summer 2016
- 2nd place LCL Spring 2018
- 2nd place LCL Spring Open Cup 2020
- 2nd place LCL Spring 2020
The organization does not report a specific reason for leaving, it only says goodbye to the audience. We can conclude that no one is upset, and the decision is balanced and correct.
The RoX place at LCL 2022 was acquired by Team Spirit, who also presented their first League of Legends roster.
