Rainbow7 renewed their League of Legends roster
The professional eSports team from Mexico Rainbow7 today presented to the public an updated roster for one of their disciplines - League of Legends. Three new players, including another Korean to the top lane.
The Rainbow7 roster update was shared with their community on Twitter. According to the esports players themselves, they "are going to fulfill this expected promise: RETURN TO THE THRONE."
Among the players we already know in the ranks of Rainbow7, we will still see Oddie as a jungler and Ceo as an ADK, with them the contract was extended for another year.
But among the conditional “newbies” we will see the LCK player at the top, as in the previous year. SoHwan will take over this role in 2022. The guy has an impressive experience of playing inside the Korean League since 2015 with such teams as Jin Air Green Wings, KT Rolster and others.
Chilean Warangelus will play the mid laner role in Rainbow7. Previously, we could see him Isurus, in which he played for the last three years. However, not everything is so smooth, because he played the role of ADK for two and a half years, and later moved to a forester for six months. Whether he can handle the mid lane role for his new team is a good question.
The updated roster is supported by Slow. Just like Warangelus, the player is originally from Chile and also played for Isurus from 2018 to 2020. And before that, he was in more than 6 teams in the Latin League and appeared on the pro-scene already in 2014.
In addition to filling all the main positions, this year Rainbow7 was still thinking and decided to sign a replacement player for the role of forester - Daiky, which really speaks of the team's determination. A young player from Colombia who only played for Respawn Esports before Rainbow.
But the changes affected not only the players, but also the team's coaches. For the new season, Rainbow7 made a very interesting decision: to borrow foreign experience. Both coaches are from different regions of the League of Legends, head coach Rahul 'Ruuxi' Nanda from America and his assistant Mateusz 'Kiao' Sujdak from Europe.
It is already known that Rainbow7 players are training hard for LLA 2022. I would like to remind you that it was from LLA that they entered Worlds twice already.
Now the Raduga roster is as follows:
- Kim 'SoHwan' Jun-yeong is a top laner.
- Sebastián 'Oddie' Alonso Niño Zavaleta is a forester.
- David 'Daiky' Esteban Vasco Mejia is the replacement jungler.
- Fabián 'Warangelus' Esteban Llanos Bernal - mid laner.
- Lorenzo 'Ceo' Tévez - ADK.
- Eduardo 'Slow' Franco Garcés Cerda - support.
