Team Singularity announced an updated roster for the start of the season
Danish esports organization Team Singularity has unveiled a brand new League of Legends roster for fans ahead of the start of the main competitive season in 2022. The team will go down five students towards eSports from Roehampton University.
The news about the new roster of Team Singularity was shared on Twitter. In addition to the post, they also posted a selection of the best moments with their players.
The roster came out multinational. As I wrote above, the team will consist exclusively of students. However, everyone already has a minimum experience in the pro-scene of 2 - 3 years, mainly as part of small teams from Northern Europe.
Here, in fact, are the players themselves in accordance with their roles in the team:
- Tatu 'Tatuy' Jauhiainen is a top laner.
- George 'pawp' Langford - forester.
- Simon 'Muter' Brøns is a mid laner.
- Kevin 'Zpikee' Andersson - ADK.
- Jeppe 'JeppeHou' Hougaard - support.
Atle S. Stehouwer, Creator and CEO of Team Singularity, commented on his preliminary impressions and expectations of the new LoL roster:
“I am very happy for the team that we have assembled and that will enter 2022, and I am absolutely delighted with the roster that we have created together with Roehampton University.
I hope we can deliver results throughout the year if players have synchronized schedules and an efficient work structure. ”
In addition to the main team, Team Singularity announced the coaching staff. Ilias 'Rai' Pajoheshfar will be the head coach, and Anton 'Softorious' Lüning will be his assistant and co-coach. And the guys from Singularity will manage Mateusz 'JOJO' Almeida in the new year.
Team Singularity explicitly declares that this roster was assembled specifically for the Northern League of Legends Championship. By the way, in the previous year, the spring and summer seasons of the NLC were the only tournaments for the team. But, there is a chance that we will see the new line-up in action earlier, in one of the minors.
