Gumayusi Signs Again With T1

More recently, it was revealed that T1 had signed a second contract with Moon 'Oner' Hyeong-joon. The management did not delay with other similar news. They delighted their fans that Gumayusi will also stay with the club for the next season. The event was announced on the organization's Twitter account and in other mass media. Gumayusi will continue to perform alongside Choi 'Zeus' Woo-jae, Lee 'Faker' Sang-hyuk, Lee 'Gumayusi' Min-hyung and Ryu 'Keria' Min-seok. As a reminder, Gumayusi has been cooperating with T1 for almost 3 years and is one of the old-timers of T1.

Lee 'Gumayusi' Min-hyun began his League of Legends career in 2018 under the tag KeG Soul. Together with the team, he won the KeG 2018 Championship and earned $ 2,665. He also took part in the 10th Esports World Championship with the North Korea national team and won there, earning $ 10,000. On December 28, 2018, fate brought Lee Min-hyun to T1, which at that time was also called SK Telecom T1. He began working with the club as the coach of the League of Legends roster and remained in this position until November 26, 2019, after which he moved from the coaching chair to the player's seat. As an active participant in the roster, he was able to help the team no less than in a coaching position. Gumayusi has won prizes at events such as LCK Regional Finals 2020, LCK Spring 2021, LCK Summer 2021, LCK Regional Finals 2021 and 2021 World Championship. He showed the best results at LCK Summer 2021 (2nd place, $ 86,285), LCK Regional Finals 2021 (1st place, access to the World Championship) and at the 2021 World Championship (3rd-4th place, $ 178,000).
