T1 re-signed with Oner
T1 has delighted their fans with good news. Their League of Legends roster will continue to play alongside Oner, who became part of the squad on December 1 last year. Thus, a year later, the management saw a fruitful cooperation with esportsmen and decided to strengthen the connection with Moon Hyeong-joon. He will continue to perform with Choi 'Zeus' Woo-jae, Lee 'Faker' Sang-hyuk, Lee 'Gumayusi' Min-hyung and Ryu 'Keria' Min-seok.
Moon 'Oner' Hyun-joon started his career in 2020 at T1. In the period from March 12 to December 1, 2020, he played in the youth squad, and then he was transferred to the main squad of T1. During his career, he earned $ 58,175 in prize money.
In the 2020/2021 season, the team, together with Oner, was able to achieve considerable success. The first pancake came out, as usually happens, lumpy - the team took 4th place in LCK Spring 2021, but at LCK Summer 2021 the team already took 2nd position. In LCK Regional Finals 2021, T1 became champions and thanks to this they were able to compete in the 2021 World Championship. The team did not manage to become the winners of the League of Legends World Championship for the fourth time, or at least reach the final of this event for the fifth time, but the team nevertheless performed quite well at the tournament. Faker, along with Oner and other teammates, managed to reach the semifinals and lost 2-3 in the fight to reach the grand final with DAMWON Gaming and took 3-4th place in the standings. Recall that DAMWON Gaming were the reigning World Champion at that time, and therefore defeat in such a battle is not the most unobvious outcome in the last match.
Current T1 roster:
- Choi 'Zeus' Woo-je
- Moon 'Oner' Hyun-hyuk
- Lee 'Faker' Sang-hyuk
- Lee 'Gumayusi' Min-hyung
- Ryu 'Keria' Min-seok
- Kim 'Asper' Tei-gi
