FC Schalke 04 Evolution says goodbye to Yoppa, expressing its condolences to the player's family and friends. The Serbian esportsman passed away at the age of 23. The official cause of Yoppa's death is the complications caused by the coronavirus.
“We are shocked and speechless. FC Schalke 04 Esports mourns for Yoppa. We express our condolences to his family, loved ones and friends. We will always cherish his memory,” reads thefarewell letter.
Yoppa entered the professional scene in 2016, appearing in little-known bands TTD Toybox, TCA eSports and ASUS ROG Army. In 2018, there was a breakthrough in the player's career, as the Serb moved to the Giants Gaming Spain. Together with the team, he took second place in the LVP SuperLiga Orange Season 15, in order to move to the MAD Lions next season.
Throughout 2019, Yoppa was part of a promising team that managed to get into the TOP-4 at LVP SuperLiga Orange Season 16 and European Masters Spring 2019, as well as win the Iberian Cup 2019.
The following year, the Serb moved to Vitality.Bee, with which he won Underdogs 2020. At the end of last year, the Serbian player joined FC Schalke 04 Evolution, in which he took third place in the Prime League Spring 2021 and the Prime League Winter Cup 2021.
