Worlds 2022 will take place in North America
Riot gamesreleased detailed information on the cities that will host the 2022 League of Legends World Championship. For the first time since 2016, the championship will take place in North America, with each stage taking place in four cities across the continent.
The Play-In phase of the tournament will take place in Mexico City, followed by group and quarter-final matches at the Hulu Theater in Madison Square Garden in New York. The Scotiabank Arena in Toronto will host the semi-finals, while the grand final will take place at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

We are thrilled to bring back the full scale of our global holiday and, if the coronavirus permits, we welcome fans in the stands in three countries and four different cities. "
As a reminder, the 2021 League of Legends World Championship took place in Reykjavik, Iceland.
