Stardust left T1
South Korean team T1 has announced goodbye to coach Stardust. Recall that the 31-year-old specialist took over the team in December last year. In an official statement, it is said that the coach made an independent decision to leave T1 in order to explore new opportunities to continue his coaching career. The organization thanked the specialist and wished him good luck in the future.
Stardust began his coaching career back in 2017 as head of H2K. However, the next season, the specialist moved to the 100 Thieves camp, with which he took second place at the NA LCS Spring 2018, and also got into the TOP-4 at the NA LCS Summer 2018. The next year, Stardust led the All Knights, which he led to third place at LLA Opening 2019 and silver following the results of LLA Closing 2019. However, at the beginning of 2020, Stardust moved to Flamengo Esports, with which he took second place at the local CBLOL Summer 2020.
Initially, the 31-year-old joined T1 as an assistant coach at the academy, but was appointed coach of the first team in July 2021 when the organization parted ways with Daeny and Zefa. From that moment on, Stardust led the team to silver medals at LCK Summer 2021, gold at LCK Regional Finals 2021, and TOP-4 at the 2021 World Championship.
