OpTic Gaming became the champion of HCS 2021-22 North America Pro Series 3
HCS 2021-22 North America Pro Series 3 has come to an end. As part of the championship, which was held online on the night of June 16-17, sixteen North American teams fought for a prize pool of $2,000, as well as rating points. The winner of the tournament was the OpTic Gaming team, which in the grand final was stronger than Cloud9 with a score of 3:1.
During the championship, OpTic Gaming managed to outplay aaaaaaa (2:0), Sentinels (2:0), Pioneers (2:1) and Cloud9 (3:2), thus making it to the grand final. In the decisive match, the North American team again proved to be stronger than Cloud9 (3:1), thanks to which they became the winner of HCS 2021-22 North America Pro Series 3, earning $1,500 and 8,000 points.
Note that this is the second victory for OpTic Gaming within the HCS 2021-22 North America Pro Series. With this achievement, the team scored the maximum number of points and received a ticket to the Halo Championship Series 2022: North America Regional Super.
