Rumor: Battlefield 6 May Have Battle Royale Mode
According to an insider Lossy, Battlefield 6 may have a Battle Royale mode similar in functionality to Call of Duty Warzone.
The insider refers to polls that EA and DICE conduct among players. In addition to standard questions, he drew attention to individual points. They, for example, mention the possibility of introducing a free game mode, a dynamic map update over time, as well as a clan system (groups of up to a hundred people with the ability to communicate, maintain general statistics, etc.) and battle passes that will open access to cosmetic items for completing tasks.
As Lossy points out, Battlefield already has a clan system with platoons, so this is not entirely new. The biggest change will be the addition of a free game mode that could potentially rival Call of Duty: Warzone.
It is also worth keeping in mind that this is not the same as confirming the appearance of these elements in the game, although EA and DICE probably have their own plans for the future of the game. These responses can be used to help EA plan which parts of the game it should focus on for pre-launch promotion, or shape the elements to be developed after the game is officially released.
