Monster Hunter premiere in Russia was postponed to next year
Monster Hunter was originally slated to premiere on December 3 this year, but is now set to premiere on January 14. Sony Pictures did not say anything about the reasons for the transfer, but users logically assumed that the film would be shown on another day due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The main role in the film is played by a native of Ukraine, Milla Jovovich, and the plot tells about Lieutenant Artemis, who accidentally found herself in a parallel world with fantastic monsters. She will fight with them side by side with the monster hunter, played by Tony Jaa.
Monster Hunter is not the first film to be postponed due to the coronavirus. Previously, the sequel "Tomb Raider: Lara Croft", the new film adaptation of "Mortal Kombat" and the movie "Protagonist" were missing from the release calendar.
