Tencent invested $ 100,000,000 in Versus Programming Network
The first round of investments in the Versus Programming Network took place 4 years ago. Now the esports organization has decided to hold a second round in order to continue its global expansion. According to the CEO VSPN (Versus Programming Network) company wants to build a Research Institute and Park of Culture eSports. They see their organization expanding in this direction.
In the second round of investment attraction, the Chinese company Tencent took the lead. The investment holding company is one of the largest in the world. It owns various social networks, music portals, mobile games, online games and even Qzone, a social network that is one of the three leaders in terms of the number of registered users, behind such giants as Facebook and YouTube.
As far as VSPN is concerned, this esports organization is based in Shanghai. The company hosts championships for many games, including PUBG Mobile, Peacekeeper Elite, FIFA Online, QQ Speed, Honor of Kings and Clash Royale. Versus Programming Network has its own broadcast studios. In addition, VSPNs have their own concert venues. In China, they have several such sites in Shanghai, where they are based, as well as in Chengdu and Xi'an. VSPN recently opened the V. SPACE concert venue in Seoul, the capital of Korea. It became the first such place not located in China.
