CDPR reported to investors

CD Project Red held a special presentation for investors. Basically, it was about the future project Cyberpunk 2077.

It became clear from the report that the game will not receive discounts in the next year after its release. And if a decrease in prices follows at the end of 2021, it will be insignificant.

Another key point of the presentation is the release date of the action role-playing. The development team has confirmed that they plan to release the game on the announced date, namely November 19, 2020. CDRP are ready to send the game for certification by Sony and Microsoft, but support for the project will continue after the official release.

The presentation also touched on the topic of multiplayer in Cyberpunk 2077. The authors of the game confirmed that the game will have "non-aggressive" microtransactions. The release of the multiplayer mode will take place no earlier than 2022.

The last thing that was discussed at the presentation was the game promotion plan. A full-fledged advertising campaign will begin in October, and marketing costs will be three times higher than CDPR's previous hit, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
