In anticipation of the imminent release of the next generation consoles, all new information appears. This time Sony talked about the sore point - backward compatibility.
Right off the bat: you can play almost any game that has ever won on PS4. And there are more than 4,000 such projects. The exception was a small list of 10 games. The following games cannot be played on PS5:

The rest of the games can be played both from discs and by downloading the game, and then installing a patch, if any. On top of that, big titles with frequency unlock will look much better thanks to the new console's technology. Among such projects, for example, Ghost of Tsushima, Monster Hunter: World, Sekiro: Shadow Die Twice and many others.
