GTA 6 Can Save You $5000, According to a Millionaire

Some people still find it hard to believe that GTA 6 is coming out this month. With just a couple of weeks left until release, the anticipation surrounding the most eagerly awaited game of this generation seems set to reach unprecedented heights in the coming days.

Probably in an effort to grab a significant share of the spotlight, British millionaire Mark Tilbury decided he needed to be trendy with regard to GTA 6 and recorded a funny video that has already gone viral on TikTok. According to Tilbury, GTA 6 could save you $5,000; his video is based on the idea that living in the game can cost you much less than in the real world. Mark says with GTA 6 priced at $100 and taking about 80 hours to complete, you’re paying about $1.24 per hour of gameplay. If you factor in side missions and exploring the world, it’ll take even more hours, and the cost per hour could drop to 50 cents.

Using some rough math, the video also points out that if you play GTA 6 for four hours at a time, 80 hours would be enough for 50 evenings. However, if players instead go shopping for groceries and spend money on other necessities—and the total comes to $100—they’ll lose $5,000 over that same period. That’s precisely why, according to Tilbury, staying in GTA 6 will allow you to save a huge chunk of your money.

Interestingly, reports indicate that people are taking time off, days off, and vacations from work in large numbers on November 19 (when GTA 6 launches) and, according to other estimates, the U.S. economy could suffer a loss of $1 billion because so many people may not show up for work for this reason.

This once again demonstrates the scale of GTA 6. The latest issue of Edge covered a lot of gameplay details last week —specifically, the size of the map, the relationship between Jason and Lucia, the police, NPC behavior, and much more.
