Fans Thinking GTA 6 Graphics Look Downgraded in the Latest Trailer
GTA 6, the most anticipated title of the year, is just one month away from its launch. This week, Rockstar Games fueled the excitement further with a new trailer. Fans were thrilled, since the studio had given no official hints about it, and the trailer has already passed 40 million views.
Meanwhile, some fans disagree about the graphics in the new GTA 6 trailer. Specifically, fans think it looks downgraded, while others claim the difference comes from how the trailer was edited, not from changes to the game itself. On social media, user GTA6_Turkish shared an “Unblurred Version of the GTA 6 Launch Trailer,” in which he adjusted the lighting and visual effects. Other users also commented they would like the final game to look exactly like this. You can check it out below:

Commenters under the post also reveal Rockstar chose this color scheme for the trailer with TV commercials in mind, and that it has nothing to do with a graphics downgrade. Either way, the first gameplay footage in late August showed that the game looks top-notch. Another sign that the graphics in GTA 6 haven’t gotten worse is a recent Digital Foundry report. In their latest article, the technical analysts shared that the game looks “extremely polished,” runs at 1440p, and that Rockstar has fixed several issues with camera shake and animations.
Grand Theft Auto VI will release on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
