Possible GTA 6 Leak Reveals Lots of Story Details, Endings, and Other Game Details

It's fair to say GTA 6 isn't just the most anticipated game this year - it's also the most leaked game of 2026. Beyond the usual rumors circulating online, hacker Cyberleek dumped more than a dozen gameplay clips of the game this summer. That story's technically over now, following the official gameplay reveal on Netflix, and most people have already moved past it.

That doesn't mean the leaks have stopped, though. A fresh alleged leak has surfaced on 4chan, reportedly from the same source behind earlier claims that Rockstar is planning to release L.A. Noire 2 in 2030. This one reveals a wealth of supposed plot details, including possible endings and gameplay specifics, outlined below.

Warning! The following contains possible spoilers for GTA 6—read at your own risk!

Possible GTA 6 Leak Reveals Lots of Story Details, Endings, and Other Game Details 1
  • According to the leak, Jason and Lucia have a son named Jonathan. Lucia got pregnant as a teenager; as Jason's criminal partner, never married to him, she ended up in prison, and their son was placed with a foster family. The main plot centers on Jason and Lucia trying to work through their relationship.
  • The leak claims the game has four possible endings, one of which is the canonical "good" ending. Jason and Lucia take their son back from the foster family and ride off together with the money from their heists, apparently unlocked if the pair maintains a healthy romantic relationship throughout. In the second ending, if the relationship is more chaotic, Lucia escapes with their son while Jason dies distracting the police.
  • The third and fourth endings happen if Jason and Lucia stay platonic rather than romantic. In neither case do they take their son. If the relationship is healthy, one character dies, chosen by the player; if chaotic, both die.
  • After finishing the main story, players return to the open world with just one final mission left to complete, a situation often seen in games.
  • Jonathan was reportedly considered as a playable character at one point, similar to the grown-up Jack in Red Dead Redemption, but that idea didn't fit the game's large time jump.
  • Rockstar apparently did plan for four protagonists originally, something Rob Nelson has already confirmed, with one of two corrupt cops dying as a consequence of Jason and Lucia's actions and the surviving one later hunting them down. That concept was reportedly scrapped too.
  • Lucia is claimed to be reminiscent of Sarah Connor from The Terminator, being bold and impulsive.
  • The nature of the relationship between the two leads is shaped directly by player choices.
  • The antagonists are described as “the strait-laced ones who are investigating the crimes.”
  • The main story is reportedly complete, with current work focused on polishing side content. There are around 150 side quests in total, many framed as multi-step tasks from strangers.
  • If one character visits strip clubs or interacts with prostitutes, the other will apparently find out, potentially affecting the ending. Male strippers and same-sex romantic options are also claimed to be included.
  • Players will be able to sponsor their own illegal street races for extra income.
  • The relationship system will run deeper than the honor system in Red Dead Redemption 2.
  • A separate team is apparently handling GTA 6’s multiplayer, with much of it already built, though Rockstar wants to avoid repeating Red Dead Online's rollout, so it'll launch later than the main game.
  • The leak also mentions a mission featuring Tommy Vercetti from GTA: Vice City, along with radio stations playing music tied to the game.
  • Leonida Keys sees frequent rain, with a hurricane playing a role during the story campaign.
  • A full dating system for Jason and Lucia is also claimed, offering a range of activities for the pair to do together.

All of this is genuinely fascinating stuff, but it's worth repeating: it's still just a rumor, not a confirmed fact, so consider this report with a grain of salt. And don’t forget, plenty of major leaks about GTA 5 were also fake.

On the official side, this week Rockstar Games confirmed that GTA 6 carries a Mature (17+) rating, with a detailed breakdown briefly appearing on PEGI's site before being edited. Love Magazine also published several new GTA 6 screenshots featuring Jason and Lucia.
