Pearl Abyss Released New Update for Crimson Desert – Patch Notes Version 2.03.00

Crimson Desert continues to roll out updates. Pearl Abyss has announced the release of a new update—Patch Notes Version 2.03.00—which, like the previous few, fixes a number of gameplay-related bugs and includes updates for NVIDIA Streamline and DLSS Ray Reconstruction.

More specifically, the Patch Notes Version 2.03.00 for Crimson Desert addresses bugs related to controls, the combat system, the interface, and localization, as well as various gameplay aspects. The update is now available on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S and will soon be available on Mac. You can check out the highlights of Patch Notes Version 2.03.00 below:

  • Improved the game so that when starting a new game from an existing save data, 1,000 or more silver is now awarded as stackable silver pouches.
  • Added a "Precise Movement" feature to Photo Mode, that allows finer camera control.
  • Fixed an issue where QTE behavior would differ depending on the key/button pressed after being grabbed by a bear.
  • Improved Water Stride to allow jumping.
  • Fixed an issue where enemies knocked back during combat would not fall off cliffs in certain situations.
  • Fixed an issue where certain UI text jittered while scrolling.
  • Updated the NVIDIA Streamline SDK to 2.14.1, applying the latest transformer model to DLSS Ray Reconstruction.
  • Fixed various localization errors and improved localization quality across all languages.
  • Fixed an issue where horses appeared unnatural after equipping certain bardings.

Next month, Pearl Abyss will also release the first DLC for Crimson Desert— Charting the Unknown. It will introduce a number of significant new features: a new area to explore, the ability to travel by sea on a pirate ship and dive underwater, build castles and outposts, and even form romantic relationships. Charting the Unknown is scheduled for release on October 15 (PC, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and Mac).
