This decision was made by the parent company Modern Times Group (MTG). MTG owns both the tournament operator ESL and DreamHack, which specializes in hosting high-quality events.
As stated in the announcement of the news, this will be an important step to maintain leadership in the eSports environment. In the future, this solution will help to organize events more efficiently, and in the future to create a high-quality eSports product.
