Fans Spotted Another Possible Teaser of GTA 6 Map in GTA Online

Speculation continues among GTA 6 fans about the reveal of possible game's new details, although it seems it has never really stopped due to the lack of official news from Rockstar Games. This time, a new discovery has once again been found in GTA Online, and it appears to outline the game map for the sixth installment.

As X users discovered, citing the original Reddit post, one of the images found in GTA Online has certain features that vaguely resemble the map of GTA 6. This isn’t the first time recently that players have found an image resembling the map of the sixth installment—something similar was previously discovered in the recent update, The Kortz Center Heist. Moreover, as noted by user X, DriftRespawn, the new painting may include a very distant view of some GTA 6 locations, such as Airward Key, Grass Rivers, and Lake Leonida, as you can check out below:

Yet another possible map tease.

Credit to u/JaneBunnFan for spotting this, but it looks like Rockstar may have hidden another subtle hint at the GTA 6 map similar to the painting we saw a few weeks ago during the Kortz Heist.

To be fair, this version is flipped and inverted, so it could just be a coincidence. Still, it’s hard to ignore that both the Kortz Center painting and this one seem to line up with the map in a surprisingly similar way.

While putting this together, I noticed something else: the last image includes the “leaked” map icon from the 2022 leaks, and it looks remarkably similar to the original, unedited painting.

Coincidence… or another deliberate tease?

Interestingly, this discovery came amid rumors that Rockstar Games might soon release new official footage of GTA 6. Specifically, renowned insider NateTheHate has stated several times that August 2026 will be that long-awaited month; moreover, he expects it to be a “meaningful look,” and there’s a possibility that instead of a new trailer, we’ll get a full-fledged look at the gameplay.
